Gasthaus zur Traube in Markt Bibart

Unfortunately, due to corona, we had to do the pick-up service. Fetched a goose with sose. .. what a brilliant kitchen! We have been to the Traube several times and know that it is great there .... but the goose was again an increase ... hopefully corona will be over soon ... the restaurant deserves it ... that it goes on. Warm, personal and simply delicious!

By far one of the best local restaurants in Franconia! If you like it hearty and regional, like from grandma's kitchen, this is the right place for you! Regardless of whether it's for Vespers or when you're really hungry, everyone will find something here. Vegetarians and vegans also get their money's worth here. The chef and his team / family are very knowledgeable about your trade and that extends from the service to the food and drinks. My favorite is the Schäufela, which is always cooked to perfection. The other dishes are absolutely delicious and you can taste that everything is prepared with love and, above all, yourself. You can simply taste that flavor enhancers and finished products are not used. We love to come back again and again and have been for years! To get straight to the point - the meal was an experience. We have seldom eaten so well! . As a starter, homemade pumpkin ravioli - the first taste explosion, the main course carp, in the variants pepper-carp, donut with Riesling sauce and the "normalo - carp" - the second taste explosion and as a harmonious finish a Willi with vanilla bourbon and Fränkischer Hochmoor flambé - the third taste explosion We will definitely come back again !! An honest Franconian restaurant. Great fish and game dishes. When the weather is nice, there is a wonderful patio in front of the house. Friendly, nice and always a trip to Ziegenbach near Iphofen.

Well ... you can go there - but you don't have to we stayed at this guest house due to the current Kapfenwochen. The corona protective measures are exemplary and there is hardly anything to complain about. The food was so "well" - reasonably priced. Carp in Sylvaner sauce was ok and carp in beer batter didn't taste like anything ... In addition, the beer batter was "limp" and not optimally baked. There was also nothing to look at - the dishes were carelessly laid out on the plate. Conclusion: if you want to eat cheaply and are in the area, you can go here - but you don't have to. Due to the large number of restaurants in the immediate vicinity, we will probably not come back. Three stars only because of the good Corona protective measures and the friendliness, otherwise the rating would have been worse ...

I really liked everything was freshly prepared and very tasty with the ferry price and the eatery is also nicely decorated.

We had reserved a table for 5 people in the beer garden two days in advance by telephone, but when we came on Sunday nothing was known of the reservation. The landlord explained that if there was no reservation in the reservation book, we would not have reserved and left us. Only the host's son made it possible for us to sit outside. We had baked carp and once Schäufele, the carp were very salty and in my opinion could have been kept in clear water for a little longer, the Schäufele was excellent! We have been to the grape several times and have never had cause for complaint and will certainly visit them again.

Nice garden and very good food! One may hardly think that such a good eatery exists in such a small village near IpHofen. But do it! It is a family business - the son cooks excellently in the kitchen, mother and father ensure smooth service. Highly recommended, and you should also try the regional specialties! We will be back!

Nice country inn with local specialties. The dishes are lovingly presented and are delicious. Not far from the main traffic routes, a detour to the cozy restaurant with beer garden is worthwhile.

The meal was excellent! The cook understands his craft. He even came to the table personally to inquire whether everything was fine. The entrance area was very nicely decorated, would be nice if you would continue in the dining room. The owners were also very friendly. Family, pleasant atmosphere.

The food: delicious! The service: you feel right at home! Location: Cozy, attractive and very clean! The only small minus point: there was a lot of time between the dishes of the individual guests at our table. We are guaranteed to come back!

Fortunately, in the last few weeks we were several times in the inn "Zur Traube" in Ziegenbach. And that has several reasons: Ziegenbach is an ideal starting point for hiking tours in the Steigerwald or Weinfranken. The inn has a cozy dining room; Traditionally and stylishly furnished and decorated without exaggerated design attentions. If you are looking for a modern "Schickimicki" lounge, should go elsewhere ;-) Great sitting outside in the garden, which is very lovingly designed, but not overly decorated. But what would be the nicest inn without the hosts and the chef ?! Family Pfeufer are hosts (family business in 3rd generation) as you wish. You just feel good and welcome. The son takes care of the culinary delights. And that's what he really does with his team. The food is exquisite, down to earth in the most positive sense of the word. Much comes fresh from your own farm or from the surrounding area. Local, seasonal and of high quality. The menu offers "classics" such as schnitzel, sausages, roasts, etc., as well as changing culinary delights, which are often very refined, but not overly experimentally prepared and combined. We are always enthusiastic about what Mr. Pfeufer thinks and how delicious it tastes, e.g. a venison schnitzel with walnut breadcrumbs or the smoked haagerella (local mozzarella-like cheese) with tomato paste. A special "event" is of course the Kärwa, where the menu is extended accordingly. In addition, there are delicious Carp dishes in the months with R, whose selection is even extended in the carp gourmet weeks. Home-baked cakes, delicious snowballs, cinnamon rolls and other desserts complete the menu sweetly. You do not have to die of thirst, either. Cool beers, refreshing juice spritzers (my favorites: rhubarb and quince) or a fine selection of Franconian wines can help. Every two weeks there is a battle bowl (own slaughter). In addition to fresh eggs, honey and others. you can take home-made sausage in the glass or smoked for home. The smoked sausages (warm) are really a hit. We look forward to next time at Pfeufers and have added the grape in our top 3 restaurant list.
